Who is the best player you have signed on a free

stephen fletcher in 2015 for accrington in league 2 after being released from some championship team. scored 25 goals in half a season.
 
is it me or has no one noticed that the dude who made this thread clearly cheated. by adding manager as real madrid and putting gago's asking price to £0.(look at the second thumbtail) it proves it. dont get me wrong we've all done it pal but at the end of the day i dont post a thread with proof that i cheated and act as if i havent shame on you mate shame on you.
 
For my Stoke game, its either between Franck Ribery or Javi Garcia.

For my Offenbach game, so far it's Taylor Twellman, but hope Brad Guzan does well.
 
Edin Dzeko for Bayern München I kept trying to sign him for 2 years before and because it was Bayern offering, he became unhappy and kept rejecting new contracts. Its amazing the power Bayern have when it comes to signing people from there own league
 
I am having to pay compensation of £1.9m but I am sure Alexandr Kerzhakov will provide the cutting edge for FC Kobenhavn.
