Well, it's only a matter of hours now until this new expansion gets released, and I admit-I'm actually looking forward to this a lot. Though I've cut it a bit fine and only recently maxed out my protection paladin. Admittedly, the scenario was a bit.....**** (Fall of Theramore). To go through it, with very little lore involved, and to get a reward of a 125 gold and some fireworks, while someone else gets an epic drop for a weapon was a bit...disheartening to say the least.
But that aside, everything else I've come across in the most recent patch for the expansion, has made the game more enjoyable for me. Mainly the simplification of the talent tree. Okay you may get less to chose from, but the spells you get in between pretty much compensates for anything lost. And to be honest, my paladin is waaaaaaay overpowered right now (80-85 in a few days?!), but I'm expecting that to be nerfed in time for the release. And some of the tedious quests are dead now which made it less boring for me.
But I'm not happy that the Horde now has paladins (Tauran and Blood Elf). Pretty much not needed in my opinion and just doesn't sit right with me. Played it since Burning Crusade and to see the Horde have them is just not right.
And to be honest, the oppurtunity to be a psychotic panda killing machine is just to great to resist. Looking forward to trying my hand at being a monk, and also learning some new lore. Hopefully there'll be plenty in the expansion. And looking forward to being in a new zone that quite frankly, looks gorgeous too.
So just wondering if any other WoW'ers are going to be picking this up apart from myself? Though I suspect it may be a good idea to avoid the exact release time-I fully expect a server crash, or an incredible amount of lag in each and every city as everyone goes totally mental for this.
Note-some people find people who play this game either nerds, sad or whatever. If you don't like it, don't bother posting "urrrr this games for sad people" or "this games ****" or "get a life" etc etc. You just sound childish so don't be douche. No trolling. (Yes-that was an incredibly obvious pun)
Also worth noting that the expansion goes live at midnight Paris time which is 23:00 BST

Might get back to it eventually but from what I've heard it's too easy now.
