I just wanted to get your opinions on this, because this is a subject which I've had many a debate about. Now, I must say, this is not "Who can pick out someone who turns out be great on FM" - because FM is NOT real life. For example, Alberto Bueno was a machine on FM 07 - he now plays in Spanish 2nd Division.

My personal opinion is that the two brightest English talents are Jack Rodwell and Dan Gosling. Two real footballers - highly impressive in my books. Other players who have impressed me (from Man Utd) - Welbeck, Macheda and Mame Briam Diouf. They are solid players, but Welbeck has scored the odd goal, likewise Kiko and Mame. They're good players - lets see what they do eh?

Those yet to impress me - Dani Pacheco. Apparently he is the "next big thing". He hasn't caught my eye yet in real life (FM = machine), nor has Ayala or Spearing or Degen. Actually, Degen ain't bad. But still....

The West Ham United pairing of Junior Stanislas and Zavon Hines. Both quick.... hmmm - ran out of things to say! They again need time to prove themselves to me. So far - they've done sweet FA.

I'd like to see what you guys think, but as I say - keep it real, not FM. And lets not start laying into each other for opinions - that is what they are - you can't expect to change a persons viewpoint

nathan delfouneso

he looks like he is gunna be a quality player and he scored his first prem goal yesterday :)

Again, delfouneso - english, young - and has actually made a name for himself. This is what we like to see in players. he's versatile, and a solid player. How old is he - 18 maybe? wicked ;)

Ramsey, Wilshere, Macheda, Gibson, Evans, Marc Wilson (he is getting better each game imo, take into consideration I watch nearly ever Pompey game), Walcott, Delfouneso, Rodwell, Gosling, Stanislas, Smalling and probably a few more.

Future looks bright, I could probably go on with more but that's quite a handful there already.

Oh, and Adam Johnson, Nedum Onuoha and Joe Hart.

EDIT - Fabian Delph aswell, he needs to be given more games at Villa or at least go on loan.

Rodwell, Gosling, Delfounese, Danny Rose and Danny Welbeck

im a big fan of jack rodwell. i also loved watching kakuta i hope he gets more 1st team apearences. also have watched romulu lukaku an absolute monster for his age, really want chelsea to sign the lad and loan him back to anderlect.

Rodwell, Gosling, Delfounese, Danny Rose and Danny Welbeck
Oh dear. A week ago everyone thought he was going to be an average player, now he's rated highly by everyone because of a lucky volley, ridiculous. :$

yer their was a nice little write up in the chelsea-bolton matchday programme. he seems like a real prospect looking forward to him.

Yeah, what you said!! Nice goal, but I'm sure if I, an overweight writer, was given 1000 chances to do that, at least one would go in. Do you guys remember Sven in 06 taking Wallcott to the WC after a few games for Soton??? He's good now, but at 16, you can't expect them to do the same
