Scottish Youth Challenge

So some of you may have been reading my journeyman save and seen me at Rangers and having a lot of fun. I really want to do a save opposite to my current club hoping one and stay in one place and build the team up to European Champions.

So the likes of Ryan Gauld and Cammy Smith featured heavily in my time in Scotland along with my own regen players like Oleary and Bradley Bradley and i really want to emulate that and build the side around Scottish players

So Aims For the Save

Dominate Scotland

Win All Domestic Trophies

Champions League Winners

Become Scotland Manager

Become Best Manager To Manage In Scotland

Have 5 Academy Products in Scotland Squad

So not too much of a challenge then!

I will be posting a poll on who to be and wont be starting the save until the weekend so let me know!!

I have 2 Preferences in

Rangers

Inverness CT

but don't mind who i start as along as its not Celtic

Rangers - Rangers are the obvious choice for this as they have the finances and facilities to achieve all of my aims and i had a lot of fun with them on my Journeyman save along with the fact i like arguing with Neil Lennon.

Inverness CT - So i like them for a rather sad reason, many years ago (around 1999) when me and my mate used to play Champ Manager we had a mega joint save with him as Queen of the South and me as Inverness CT purely because they have the same initials as me :p

m8 i think this will be alot of fun :) how about dundee utd they have a base to start from!!! good look either way

Agree, sounds like it will be a great challenge. I was going to suggest Dundee Utd too. :)

Dundee United could be a decent option with the likes of Gauld and Souttar i think it is there and i like the look of Ciftci or something like that? The dirty ******.

people are suggesting rangers but yh dundee will be fun i have gauld an souttar at utd first season gauld on loan at celtic and souttar at ranger there doing ok i will follow either way :)

I chose other as Aberdeen have a rivalry with Rangers and a 'rivalry' with ICT (We just hate each other) so anything but those two and Dundee Utd haha

I would say Dundee United as well as they seem to have a nice crop of youngsters coming through :D

I would say any team other than Rangers in the bottom division, will make an already hard challenge even that harder!

i'm a fan of dundee united, so i would suggest them.
would be nice to see them going to europe and winning.

So with Dundee United being a favourite it you choose the other choice in the poll it will be a vote for Dundee, Vote now poll should be closing today so i can start the new story of the weekend. Rangers currently in the lead by only 1 vote

I'll go for hearts but only cos their my favourite Scottish side :)

Dundee Utd for me also..good crop of youngsters as stated above and a bit different to the normal saves eg Rangers/Celtic/Aberdeen.

I think the Mighty East Stirlingshire should be the way ahead. That isthe ultimate challenge. Worst team in Scotland in the 21st century to the daddy team!!

Right so Dundee United it is and my mate Ryan Gauld, first job pinch Cammy Smith, should have the first few posts up tonight

Dundee Squad in Order of Age

Such a young squad with only 2 players over the age of 30 and most of my key players are in there early 20's so its all helping towards creating long term success.

Best 3 Current Players

Gary Mackay Steven - AMRL

Andrew Robertson - DL

Gavin Gunning - DC

So i dont see us bringing anyone in on the first transfer window as we havent been given any real money or wage budget and the board have refused getting a parent club so i cant even borrow a few players.

August 2013

So my luck with injuries continues with my new story as Goodwillie is already out injured and Dow, Petrie, Robertson and Mackay Steven all pick up injuries in the first few games.

So 3 of my key three i mentioned before hand are already injured

Mackay and Robertson Out 3 Weeks

Some good wins already this season but we lost to the team i could have been in Inverness but won our other 4 games even though they were against easy competition.
Were predicted 4th behind Celtic, Motherwell and Inverness and i think that should be attainable.

2nd at this early stage means little but Celtic have had a mare for the start of the season losing 3 out of 4 opening league matches.

Graham has been on fire at this early stage of the season and banged in 6 goals already while Goodwillie and Mackay Steven sit on the injury table.

Beat Celtic !!!!!

Alright so the tactic seems to be working well especially the counter attacking element of it as Celtic dominate the match but we win the match!

September Fixtures

5 wins in a row as we secure important wins against the likes of Celtic and Motherwell, i know its only early in the season but Champions League here we come!

What is going on with Celtic? They have only won 2 games in the league out of the opening 8! Lennon wont be lasting long there if he keeps this up.

Graham and Gauld have been playing well and i have even been playing Souttar in defence next to Gunning as we are doing so well.
