FMBase Lost Talents 2.0 - Attackers' Revenge Story

Are there actually Any teams interested in me?? :p

There were interests from other South American clubs...but they were put off from the MASSIVE Release Minimum Clause. Same problem with Hulkster. Both players are $175,000,000+ minimum release.

JULY & AUGUST Updates:
gremiog.png

After 6 years with Gremio, Hulkster has finally hinted on moving out of the club to advance his career further. At 24 goals, 4 assists and 2 MotM performances in 34 appearances, Hulkster hasn't slowed down ever since he started his senior career. Since our last update, Gremio have dropped down from 1st to 3rd. Hulkster and his club will have an important Copa Libertadores Preliminary against Portuguesa. The talk in the media is how long Hulkster might last with Gremio after his latest talk about moving on.
benfica.png

The biggest news from European Summer Transfer Window came when Benfica paid what turned out the be Haifa's biggest transfer pay-check. Messy Hallow finally got his dream move to Europe when Benfica splashed out $16,000,000 for his services. Messy has already started in all 4 Champions League Playoffs spot matches and he has already scored 1 goal for his new club.
cruzeirof.png

Cruzeiro are having an abysmal season thus far. They are currently 15th in the league, only 8 points away from the relegation playoffs spot. Matthew Cameron hasn't slowed down one bit though, scoring 16 goals, adding 4 assists and 4 MotM performances in 31 appearances. Their 4 game losing streak at the start of the month of August didnt help either. With Cruzeiro's chances of going down to the 2nd division getting higher and higher, Botafogo are rumored to be following Cameron.
421.png

Reginald Bottomtoucher Jr has been breaking records left and right since joining Deportivo Cali. With 7 games left in the Colombian 2nd Phase Season, Reginald has already broken the Season record with 10 assists. Since the start of year, Reginald has already picked up 8 goals, 19 assists and 6 Yellow cards in 39 appearances. He has been a busy little fella this Colombian.
universidad.png

Raul has probably been the most prolific player in South America this season. In 20 appearances, Raul has already picked up 17 goals, 5 assists and 3 MotM awards. After Universidad de Chile lost to Colo Colo in a thumping fashion in the Apertura after losing 7-3 over the 2 legs, Chile have decided to up their game and have gone out guns blazing since the start of the Clausura. Winning 8 of their first 9 matches, scoring 18 goals on the way.
youngboys.png

Young Boys have started the season unbeaten after 6 games with a 3-3-0 record with the club scoring 11 goals. Ignacio was only able to score 1 of the 11 goals for his club in the Swiss League, but put his opponents to the sword in the Europa League Playoffs matches with 4 goals in 4 matches.
1736j.png

Javier started the new season where he left off. In a friendly game, Squeekles was sharp enough to score 3 goals in the game. The first real competitive match the Bolivian assisted Ronaldo goal in a 3-0 win over Barcelona in the 1st leg match of the Super Copa. In the return leg though, Real manager decided to sit Javier out, resulting in Barcelona running riot over Real Madrid to win it 5-0 in front of the Madrid fans. In a match where Madrid had opened their new section of the stadium after their renovation that added 13000 new seats, Barcelona went out to embarass Los Merengues and it worked to perfection. Javier Squeekles was happy to be left out for sure.

OTHER News:
- Next update will feature the final 4 matches of the South American World Cup Qualifiers. Many are wondering if Reginald Bottomtoucher Jr will make his appearance for Colombia after his recent outstanding form for Deportivo Cali. Colombia and Uruguay are both 6 points away from the Qualifying spots and they will want to push hard to make it to the World Cup.

SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER Updates:
1736j.png

Javier Squeekles didn't let his 3 goal game in the friendly get to him. Arguably Bolivia's best player of all time, Javier went on to put a performance of a life time when he hit the net 3 times in one game for Real Madrid in a 5-0 win. That came after the match where Javier Squeekles also broke the record for the fastest goal in La Liga history, where he broke the deadlock within 10 seconds against Barcelona, which started a 3 goal onslaught in 7 minutes where Higuain and Ronaldo scored the 2 others. A sweet revenge after the 5-0 thumping they received weeks earlier. Javier Squeekles has now scored 8 goals in 12 appearances for Real Madrid this term. He has also picked up 2 assists. Im happy to say that Javier Squeekles is leading the Goal Stats department in La Liga with 7 goals. To the sword!
atlmadrid.png

The other La Liga player, Valderrama, has finally ended his goal drought by hitting the net twice in one game. He went on to score a third a few matches later. He has now scored 3 goals in his 13 appearances. All coming in his 8 La Liga matches played.
gremiog.png

And it's on! Just days after Wanderley broke the record for the most goals in 1 year for Gremio, Hulkster hit back with goals of his own to break the record once again. It seems that both of them will be going at it all year long. All this goal fest has not helped Gremio move up over 3rd place. It doesn't seem that anyone will be catching Corinthians this season who will most likely win their second Brazilian League title in a row.
universidad.png

Universidad de Chile's brightest star has finally broken his goal drought. Raul was starting to lose form as of late, not scoring in just over 8 hours. But he is no Torres, finally getting back to his goal scoring ways. He was also added an assists to his tally when nothing was going in. He still leads the team with the most goals this season and recently got a call up to the National Squad and might finally make his first appearance for Chile. Universidad de Chile are also leading the league by 2 points over Colo Colo and will love nothing more than win the Clausura, which they let slip between their fingers against Colo Colo in the finals of the Apertura.
benfica.png

Messy Hallow has started his Benfica career on fire. In 6 league matches, he has already scored 6 goals. He hasnt slowed down in the Champions League, by scoring 3 goals in his 7 matches played. Even scoring 2 goals in one match against Rapid Wien and then helped his club draw the match against Barcelona. Now Benfica are now tied on 4 points with PSV.

- Review -
Well there you have it lads. After years of preparations, friendlies and matches, Argentina dominate the Qualifier Stage by winning it with a 3 point margin and scoring a whopping 55 goals. Brazil weren't far away though. But they would be happy to make the trip to the tournament next summer. Chile were glad to be among the four teams to get a guaranteed spot at the World Cup. Uruguay unfortunately just missed out on 5th place playoffs spot by 2 points. Colombia also had a chance to make it, but failed to reach the promise land.

As seen in the picture beforehand, Messi totally dominated the Qualifying stages with Argentina. Topping both the goals scored and assists. Martin Batistuta has also been a revelation for Argentina as he helped create 6 goals for his national team.

So...Russia next summer. Ya'll ready to rumble?

OTHER News:
- Nothing much to say other than the lads are in full swing. With another 5 or so years to go before they hit their prime, many have already started showing how great they could/will be. Exciting times ahead.

Benfica? Least it's in Europe <3.

Keep it up |)

Are Cameron & Hulkster the only 2 at the original club then?

Looks like Bottomtoucher Jr. is starting to hit his form! Just a shame about Columbia not reaching the World Cup but there always next time!

Ballena needs a big move!
Ya i think he will be moving on soon. The European Winter Transfer Window will be open in months time. Maybe in an update or two, we will see Ballena representing a new club. Dont get your hopes up though, Young Boys will try to get as much as possible. Milking it hard.

NOVEMBER & DECEMBER Updates:
gremiog.png

After a trophy-less 4-year span, Hulkster has finally got his chance to celebrate a trophy win with Gremio. He had earlier in the year won the Confederation's Cup with Brazil, but winning a Cup with his current club was remarkable. With just 7 matches left in the season, many thought Corinthians would pick up their 2nd trophy in a row. Corinthians shocked though and somehow Gremio picked up their form and went on a hot-streak that went down to the last match-day. Corinthians drew...Gremio won their game. Propelling them 1 point ahead of their rivals to pick up their first Brazilian League Title since 1996. 21 years without a trophy made their fans restless and now, the Gremio fans will be celebrating the new years with extra spice to their party. Hulkster and Wanderley were the most potent duo in the league, combining with 40 goals out of the 61 goals scored. The man himself scored 33 goals in all competitions and they were able to pick up the Brazilian League and the Gaucho State Championship Title. The 33 goals season for Hulkster was also a new record for Gremio for goals scored in 1 season. Gremio rewarded Hulskter with a new 5 year contract that will see him make $68,000 a week with a goal bonus of $6750 a goal and a $10250 bonus for every appearance. It is now time for Hulkster to help Gremio to Continental glory.
cruzeirof.png

Cameron and Cruzeiro hasn't had nearly the good year that Hulkster got this past season. Cameron was still able to score 20 goals himself, but Cruzeiro were only able to finish mid-table yet again. He was also able to pick up 6 assists and 5 MotM awards.
421.png

Deportivo Cali ended their 2nd Stage League season in 2nd place and made the Group Stages...only to crash out by finishing in 3rd place of the Group Stages. Many thought they would go into the finals and make it hard for their opponents, but they failed to deliver. Reginald Bottomtoucher Jr had himself a great season for his own standards. In making 41 appearances, he scored 8 goals and collected a career high of 19 assists in a season. The 19 assists also blew the previous record out of the water which was at 10. Yet, Reginald still hasn't got a call up to the National Team. With Colombia out of the World Cup, surely he will get a few caps with upcoming friendlies in 2018.
universidad.png

Raul might have scored 2 goals less than the previous season, finishing the year with 20, this season has seen his finishing become as clinical as anyone could ask from a forward. With 2 goals in every 3 matches, teams facing this Chilean force shook in their boots the moment they read his name on the starting 11. It was unfortunate that 2017 was filled with injuries, missing a total of about 4 months. Injuries didnt slow him one bit though, collecting 7 assists and 3 MotM performances too. He was in such a good run this season that he got a call and got 2 caps, where he also picked up an assist. Making his debut in a 3-0 friendly win against Russia. With Chile making it to the World Cup, fans who know the 21 year old will be hoping to see him make the trip to Russia with the squad when June comes a long. After the success of 2017, Raul has been recieving interest from AZ from Holland and Hercules and Sporting from Spain.
benfica.png

Benfica's summer signing Messy Hallow has made, so far, a smooth transition. Already scoring 10 goals in 20 appearances. Also creating 2 other assists and picking up 1 yellow card. Benfica might have had the worst goal scoring differential with PSV, but they had beat them on 1 occasion and drew the return fixure. So they will now be facing Manchester United in the following round. Will Messy Hallow prove a handful for Manchester United's defense? Or will Benfica crumble in front of the English giants?
atlmadrid.png

Valderrama had a slow start to his career with Atletico Madrid. With Squeekles taking center stage with Atletico's feirsest rivals, Real Madrid, Valderrama decided to get focused and help his team move up the table. In our last update, Kenrry had only scored 3 goals in 13 appearances. Over the past 2 months, Valderrama became the hottest player in Spain, scoring 12 goals in the following 13 games. With this great form, Valderrama has helped his club move up to 2nd place, with only 5 points seperating Los Colchoneros from Valencia, and even overlapping Real Madrid, with 1 point difference. With Atletico Madrid's stadium expension ending this past summer while the players were on vacation, the team's great form as of late has helped the club break the attendance record week after week. Pundits point the finger directly at Valderrama's contribution to the club's latest surge of attention and positive vibe it is getting. With half a season left to go, many will be cheering not only for Atletico Madrid to win the league, but for Valderrama to break the record for the most goals in one season, which is at 35. Its still possible if he keeps up his recent form, with Europa League and Copa del Rey still on schedule.
metalist.png

Finally Juan Pablo Miguel has made his way back into the club after being sidelined for 5 months due to a broken leg. Since then, he has made only 4 appearances, getting 1 assist. This hasn't stopped Mallorca and Levante showing interest into the Venezuelan.
youngboys.png

With only 5 goals in his first 10 matches player by Ignacio Ballena, the Uruguayan has gone to score another 8 in the following 14 matches for Young Boys. His latest form has helped Young Boys move up to 2nd place in the Swiss League, 7 points behind Zurich, and his 6 goals in 8 Europa League matches were not enough to keep them in the competition.

OTHER News:

- After Ronaldo won both FIFA Ballon d'Or and World Player of the Year 2 years running, it was Messi's turn to pick up both Awards in 2017.

The 33 goals season for Hulkster was also a new record for Gremio for goals scored in 1 season. Gremio rewarded Hulskter with a new 5 year contract that will see him make $68,000 a week with a goal bonus of $6750 a goal and a $10250 bonus for every appearance. It is now time for Hulkster to help Gremio to Continental glory

Doesnt look like Hulk will be going far now....

There has been some rumors. ;) Will post it later. Plus... who wants to leave their home country while making so much money? $10250 per appearance? Yes sir thank you. On average, Hulk is making around 45 appearances a year and scoring around 30 during that span. Thats $461,250 a year, pla

That equates to: (45 x $10,250) + (30 x $6750) + (52 x $68,000) = $461,250 + $202,500 + $3,536,000 = $4,199,750 + $490,000 (15 goal bonus) = $4,689,750 / year (give or take depending on his performance)

JANUARY & FEBRUARY Updates:
737x.png

We will start the new year update with news that will excite Venezuelan fans around the world. Oswaldo Nino has finally found a new home away from South America. Becoming the first Lost Talent 2.0 player to make it onto the British Isles by joining Wigan Athletics. Wigan were so eager to sign the young talent that they dished out $11,000,000 to satisfy Olimpia's demand. Oswaldo said at the press conference that he was very excited and eager to start his new journey with his new club. Since his move to Wigan, he has not disappointed one bit and has already won over the fans' support after only 5 games. Already picking up 1 goal and 4 assists to his tally. Wigan's #55 will have other teams watching him closely after his fiery start to his EPL Career. We will be watching his development very closely indeed.
metalist.png

The 2nd Venezuelan International, Juan Pablo Miguel, has shown discontent with his team's lack of interest of letting him go to join the Spanish club Levante. Since the start of the Transfer Window, Levante were said to be the front runner to sign the up and coming star, but Metalist were not happy with the fee that Levante were willing to pay. Miguel has only made 5 appearances for Metalist this season. Since then though, it is rumored that Bayern Munich have shown interest for the Juan Pablo Miguel. With a club of this stature, the chances of Miguel shopping for a new bachelor pad will rise greatly.

Both Gremio and Atletico Madrid have had their strikers in top form the past 3/4 months. Valderrama himself has been in exceptional form that saw him score 12 goals in a span of 13 games the last time we checked on him. He has seen his goal/game average take a slight dip in recent time, but 6 goals in the past 10 games is not too shabby in itself. Valderrama now sits with 21 goals in 36 appearances in all competitions. Hulkster though, has just come back to Gremio after being one of the reason why the club won the Brazilian League. The connection between both clubs though doesn't end with both player's great runs as of late. Atletico are said to be looking for a replacement for Falcao to partner Valderrama. And yes, you guessed it, they have been tapping onto Hulskter to make his way to Spain to join the '2nd' Madrid club. Gremio fans were not sure what to think of it, but the Madrid fans were rubbing their hands together with the potential. The deal was said to have gone deep into the negotiations, but it ended in a bust between both club when Atletico put the blame on Gremio, saying that the club's demands for Hulk Hogan was over the moon and unheard of. Hulk himself said little about the situation, saying that he would welcome a move to Atletico Madrid and would love to play along side his countryman Valderrama. Will both teams agree on a deal in the near future? That is still up in the air and we will have to wait until the smoke clears and let bygones be bygones. As for Atletico's season so far, they were knocked out of Copa del Rey by Barcelona with a 4-1 aggregate score. While their Champions League knockout stage started off brilliantly with a 3-1 win over Chelsea in the first leg where Valderrama scored a hat-trick to give Madrid an easy return leg.
66307951.png

The second player to make a move out of South America was the Chilean sensation, Danilo Martinez, othewise known as Raul. After spending 2 great years with Universidad de Chile, AZ Alkmar have decided that it was time to make a move on the 21 year old before another would sweep in for him. AZ ended up paying a only $4,900,000. A bargain for such a prolific scorer like Raul. Whether he will show the same killer instinct in Eredevise is still unknown. Yet the Dutch League has always provided a great springboard for other former South American greats and the fans of both club and player will hope Raul will follow suit.
1736j.png

Javier had a slow few months before the turn of the new year. At end of the 2017 year, Javier hit a slump where he was only able to score 1 goal in 2 months. Since his return from the break though, Javier Squeekles has found his former form and score 7 goals...5 in the past 5 matches that he has participated it. It hasn't been enough to get the closer to Atletico Madrid though. Real are still in 3rd place in La Liga, with a 2 point deficit to Atletico. Real have also booked their ticket to the Copa del Rey finals where they will meet Barcelona once again. In the Champions League, things haven't been as bright, losing the first leg 2-0 to Liverpool.
benfica.png

Messy Hallow has kept his above par goal scoring record with 15 goals in 25 matches this season. His latest prey were Manchester United. Both clubs met in the Europa League 1st round of the Knockout Stages. Benfica went out with a 1-0 win over ther opponents at the Estadio da Luz after Messy Hallow put his club ahead after only 12 minutes with his only shot of the match. United were able to contain him after that, but the Red Devils were not able to get one back to draw the match. Messy Hallow has now created a buzz around him and fans around Europe are starting to sit up and realize what Benfica have unleashed onto their rivals. And Messy Hallow is taking it all in with pride and vigor.
youngboys.png

Ignacio might be playing the Swiss League, but his opponents' Manager have repeatedly shown concern when facing the Uruguayan. Basel and Servette FC were Ignacio's latest victimes as he unleashed 2 goals in each of the 2 games to raise his tally to 17 goals in just 25 games. The two blow-outs (4-1 win and 6-0 win respectivly) has, not only, reduced the gap to the top to 4 points, but also put the goal difference into play if they could get any closer to Zurich as the season winds down.

How's my Batistuta-man doing in the frenchies ? :)

I forgot to update him. Sorry. I think he hasn't made many appearances, i think about 15 only. I'll double check him next time around. i think he was injured though.
